Should children born in the Diaspora be allowed to pursue office back home? According to Somalia's constitution you just need to be ethnically speaking Somali and hold Somali citizenship, the requirement for that is to have a Somali father. But what do you think?

Well yes but it did demonstrate the more educated a society is, it will be observed in their country wealth and productivity. We can't even do basic conflict resolution for 30 years and continously unstable, what intelligence can u point to that they r using? i don't see none, but just 'feelings' being turned into action(violence), only a low intelligence pool will resort to such measures

If you can’t make it in the west with loans, customers with money, and law and order what makes you think you will make it in Somalia the wild Wild West they will eat you alive. You do know that we constantly have western countries and their allies on our backs along with neighbors who don’t want us to succeed? Somalia and Somaliweyn as a whole is currently against their interests.

If they were to stay in the country for 21 years then? I'm pretty sure I agree with Dr.Osman. But concerning the legality of it anyone of us could run for office. All you have to have is Somali Citzenship, A Somali Mother and Father, and you are over the age of 45.
