Shisheeye learning Af Soomaali good or bad?

Today i went to my local dukaan to get a few things as i went to the counter this Sikh fella said a few Soomaali and i though to myself should converse in Soomaali with him or not but decided not. Another time i was at my local barbers and this one Gujarati Indian muslim knew and spok Af Soomaali fluently. The brother told me his father is in auto spare parts business and is doing business in Mogadishu and Hargeisa. Is good thing the Shisheeye are learning our language as i get a bit suspicious of their motives aswell seeing Somali lingo being used these days.

Indians who have no history/connection to Somalia speaking the language is eyebrow raising. However, from what I've heard there were plenty of Indians living in Somalia, mainly Mogadishu, before the civil war. I think they had their own district/neighbourhood in the capital. It's surprising we don't come across them/hear about them.

Inevitable in the coming decades when Somalia becomes richer and stable InshAllah. I have personally met a pakistani guy who was born and raised in Somalia before the civil war.

Somalia will have immigrants in the future and I welcome it. Already hella people know somali words/ slang its just a matter of time before people know our language too.

Similar to the Indians of East Africa, they blended into the Asian population of UK.

Many married into reer Xamar or ethnic Somali families. You can find some YouTube videos of Indian Somalis with Somali names talking about their history.
