Boosaaso.jpg

Markab xamuul ah oo u raran shirkadda Ganacsiga Barwaaqo, ayaa sida la xaqiijiyay ku caaryay dekedda magaalada Boosaaso.
Markabka waxa saaran Shamiito dhan shan kun oo Ton, sida laga soo xigtay mas’uuliyiin ka tirsan shirkadda Ganacsiga ee Barwaaqo.
Dekedda Boosaaso waxa haatan ka socda dadaal xooggan oo ku wajahan sidii rarka looga kala yarayn lahaa markabka, si dib loogu celiyo goobta loogu tala-galay in maraakiibku ku xirtaan ee dekedda.
Wararku waxay sheegayaan in marinka gaadiidku ay u maraan dekedda Boosaaso ay ciid buuxisay, taasi oo sababtay in markabku ku caaryo dekedda.

The boat was saved, but you know this already as you clearly have Puntland and all its city names in your google alerts you stalker.

Why don't you go run along and doctor some more "demographics" tables.

Puntland region's Bosaso port is going through a very difficult time, in case you do not know, this is the current activity levels:

Having ships running aground further compounds an already awful situation.

This is serious, please do not make light of it.

@TabK don't bring out Dr Osman to battle, I am pitbull naarta hoosteeda, I only come out to do real damage. Your constant reference to 'shipping online' records do not record all those 'dhows' that majority of puntland relies on.

Those dhows carry clothes-equipments-construction materials-food stuff for burco-erigavo-hiran-galmudug-puntland-wardheer. That is why Bosaso port based on 'tonnage' measurement is serving a larger market then berbera.

We only get a few container shipping for 'shidaal' and 'livestock' and 'djibouti container shipping'. Puntland port when you include all those dhows would shit over your 10 ships. War waxani @TabK don't compare yourself to Bosaso, if berbera was so booming, why is it a tuulo, even 'garacad' will turn into a business city in comparison to Bosaso way before BERBERA ever does.

Our garacad container port is locally funded and built, your port is begging bowl from dubai, isku xishoo, afkaga gashin ka leexi puntland or else the pitbull from naarta hoosteeda will tear you a new one :jcoleno:

Waryaa @TabK why are you so deperate to compete with a port that services a much larger foot-print then Berbera. Bosaso port hadu dhumo, waxaa meesha ka baxayso hiiraan-galmudug-somaliland-puntland, because no-one is going to berbera waxay uu xiran tahay afar ganacsato iyo monopoly who don't allow small to medium traders to use it.

This is why capitalism is said not to work, berbera is a perfect example of 4 consortiums locking out the potential of small to medium enterprises by stamping them out thru high port usage costs. Bosaso port is the only port in Somalia that services so many cities and towns and villages, we own 70% of the trade happening in Somalia.

Puntland is experimenting with 'capitalist' owned port at Garacad and we shall see if it pays off and doesn't do what berbera did by large consortium 'taxing' out competitors in puntland market. We shall wait to see if puntland state run port at bosaso is more effective and efficient and trade friendly then garacad private run investor port. Only time will tell, but we warn Garacad and the Omar mahmoud people 'ha noqon berbera' oo magaladisa illa manta tuulo yahay because of consortiums not allowing other businesses to operate. I think garacad will not make the same mistake as BERBERA oo 'tusaale' uu ah dalka intisa kale in aan lagu 'daysan' oo lagu daysto Bosaso port Model and how it allowed all Somali businesses 'equal and free' access which has turned Bosaso from where 'garacad' uu joggo manta back in 91 to the third largest city in Somalia. Garacad could technically become another 'great business hub' wa hadi aay ku daystan modelka bosaso and not modelka berbera.

Look at our highway constantly damaged because of our low tax model which I disagree with, bosaso to galkacyo highway must be paid for thru moderate to high taxation model is my opinion, it's unfair your people and all Somalis use our port and road but not pay for the upkeep.

Waryaa @Libaax-Joore If I was puntland president waxan ku dari laha canshuraha jidadka a 'road maintainance' tax to each vehicle using puntland trade corridor, so each year road upgrade lagu sameeyo.

Somalia wa 637000 SQKM. 220,000 SQ KM waa puntand keligeed which is 3 meel hadi somalia suuqisa loo qaybiyo hal meel wa puntland.

This isn't including our trade corridor of hiran-eastern somaliland-galmudug which is another easy 100,000 SQ KM added to our market foot print which is served by Bosaso. So technically Bosaso port serves nearly 60% of Somalia market places. No wonder they nick-name Bosaso as Bosaso Deeqo, waxaa ku wada xiran nearly 60% of Somalia market place.

Warya @Libaax-Joore @TabK that bosaso port market share covers 320,000 SQ KM which includes eastern SL/Hiran/Galmudug, where-as PL keligisa waa 220-000 SQ KM. That is easily 60-70% of Somalia market place all using Bosaso port. 320,000 SQ km MARKET place for one 'port' cayaar ma aha, waa good 'state run' economic policies unlike Berbera oo 'afar ganacsato' keliya uu xiran, which proves capitalist run ports or infrastructure stalls a city growth, berbera looks no different to when it was 91, where-as Bosaso is now the second or third largest city in Somalia showing u that 'bosaso' took the best economic model which I hope 'garacad' will follow in bosaaso model of development by ensuring a 'free trade zone and low taxes' which we could see Garacad becomes the 3rd or 4th largest city in Somalia and not even go thru the 'degmo' stage but go from tuulo straight to 'business city' stage as all Somalis rush to open a 'bakaar' and 'house' so their near the port for their business activities. One advantage Garacad has is 'town plan' which Bosaso didn't do.

If Garacad combines a town plan and the 'port' it could technically become the best 'business city' in Puntland. What holds Bosaso back is lack of town plan.

What I calculated for Bosaso port market share being 320-000 SQ KM is only the 'import' not 'export' because in 'export' Livestock is 40% of the whole GDP which is 95% in the hands of Bosaso port except the absame corridor which is also shifting to garacad port once completed.

So that small absame corridor that SL rely on is going to hand itself into Garacad port and come thru Turdibi customs not 'wajaale', the new 'wajaale' is 'turdibi' baby which is @Lion of Tanade homeland. Plus that 30% of Somali GDP which is imports is locked away to Bosaso port handling 60% of Somalia market place importation needs.

There is no competition with Berbera, there is no other active port with such a large 'client' like Bosaso. Berbera looks no different to when it was in 91, but Bosaso with the right economic management model has turned out to be the 2nd or 3rd largest city in Somalia. The only thing Bosaso stuffed up on was no 'town plan' but that could be an opportunity for Garacad to include a town plan and 'world class port' are the ingredients for a 'great future city' in the making.
