Well he shouldn’t conflate his KG people’s failures on the federal system. By principle KG people are better off under federalism which is what they were advocating for in the 60s and proven right in the decades that followed.

Every so often I see a thread where KGs Darawiish are killed for entering their state capital which is currently held by atmis-backed federal Mooryaan. I also see your leadership picked from Xamar.

You are 1/4.5 just like the Hawiye and fully integrated into the FGS unlike the Darood. What do you have to show for it besides current expulsions from IDP camps in Benadir and inflammatory language from officials.

Puntland did nothing few months ago when Habar Gidir Massacred Leelkase for months nothing was done, heck deep down some MJ were mostly likely happy to have them weakened, akin to like when Germanic confederacy states would be invaded by Poland, Sweden, Austria, Denmark and the Holly Roman Empire would do nought

Leelkase were armed to the teeth by Puntland and were given everything they requested. The Leekkase defeated the HG and established their new town by force of arms. They never asked for a single MJ man.

Same situation exists in Awdal with Isaaq opposition to any new port in Zeila where Gadabursi may gain revenues independently of Isaaq.

This has nothing to do with port-blocking. Southern Hawiye(& RX) culture is very different from the typical Somali geeljire mentality.

In fact, I doubt even the geeljire HGs in Barawa would even oppose a port being built there. they might even help fund it. But a D&M controlled port? Yeah that’s not happening.

It’s like GM demanding control over the Garacad port.

However, You’re spot on when it comes to isaaq elites. Their ictraaf depends on it tho, so I can’t really blame.

A lot of Somalis I’ve spoken to believe modern federalism was brought and implemented by TPLF to divide us or at the very at least heavily inspired back when TPLF had heavy hands in Somalia it’s one of the most polarizing topics amongst Somalis

Habar Gidir don’t have ancient rights to Barawa and its environs. Where have you reached this conclusion from?

I don't get Hawiye fascination with centralism.

I mean, I do understand wanting to concentrate absolute political power and influence within the capital you happen to be in possession of.

But in the long-term that's something that would work against you with regard to demographic shifts that come with that encouragement of movement to Xamar XSM and SS peddle.
