In 1893, Sheikh Seyid Mohamed invulnerable a well renowned Ulumah hailed from Karanle Hawiye and Sheikh Madar advised me whom I met in Hargiesa not to go Ime but try to Karanle, and gave me an Arabic letter to Seyyid Mohamed, a mullah whose permanent town lay in our front.

The Mujahid was laid to rest by Karanle in Iimey. The British were pursuing the Mullah practically everywhere they punished Karanle in Somalia and Ethiopia by desecreting the town that housed the tomb of the Mullah after we hid his body while the dervish loyalists and family of the Mullah left the area, this was when the Gidir Karanle Ugaas was killed the father of Risala Aden Baar the last wife of the Sayyid.
