I don't think shaving your hair will help.

Try Jojoba oil
or Castor oil
or Fenugreek in water and spray it on your hair.

Shave it, I had my head shaved at least 3 times. It’s also low maintenance so bonus points. Warning if you have curly hair when it starts growing again and it’s in the Mini Afro phase it’s a nightmare.

Yes I shaved it bald twice. And at the start of this year I cut most of it off up to neck length.
