Shiasim wasn't a theological thing in the first centuries of Islam, it took that aspect in centuries later. The Shia (supporters) were a group of ppl who saw Ali as the legitimate Khalif. So this sheikhs take that there was a guy who created this islamic doctrine to make a rift in Islamic tawheed is false. Beside that, the Shia themselves aren't monolithic, there is a great shunk of them who are considered to be Muslims Muwaxidiin.

Out of air? It is a fact that there weren't any Madahib, no shafici maliki shia Ibadi, etc. It was all politics. Othman wasn't as effective as Omar or Abu bakr. Gave some positions based on qabiil, killing him by savage mob was wrong. But claiming that this whole shiasim was a master plan of one single guy, a guy who also the responsible of the corruption of Christianity is a conspiracy theorist level of delusion
There was Ghulat led by the Yemeni Jew Ibn Saba who claimed Ali was God وعياذ بالله and Ali RA burned his followers alive and exiled Ibn Saba but his views survived among the Shia groups and one of the major ones who have that or carry those views are the rafidha 12er sect , the Nusiryris and the Ismailis who all appeared in late 3rd century and early 4th centaury
Ibn Saba was one of the leaders of the insurgents during Uthman's last years of his rulings that spread lies about the caliph among the Egyptians ( not the natives but the Arab tribes that settled there after the conquest)
Ibn Saba is the father of judeo-shi'ism
