The two party system/electoral college is flawed and leads to this. You have states that have been neglected for years because humans are selfish. The people who live near the Mexico border have to deal with issues that the north doesn't. Most Somalis living in Minnesota, Ohio etc.

If America allowed it borders to be open it would have been flooded. The entire earth can't live in the few wealthier nations. It’s very unfair but the reality or else what's the point of a citizenship.

Texas is largely self reliant the only thing they want is secure borders don’t want all of South America in El Paso after all they’ll go bankrupt trying to accommodate these millions of poor people form the global south
