I love secularist, scientific method type of culture but in all honesty, we are just as divided as the Islamist. You got capitalist, socialists, traditionalist(royalty), religious type, semi religious, and atheists. I will never sell a message that is totally un-real to my people or clan or nation(depending on what context I am speaking on). Somalia is my people only in a sense where they 'carved' a damn border, my people in local context is Puntland.
What is happening there is their trying to remove one identity for another thru 'centralism' where-as federalism seems to keep 'both' identity of regional identity locally and nationally 'somali identity' since we don't share the same region or clan with Somalis, we were unfortunate that the border was placed here and not somewhere else. It would've been better to carve dir/isaaq/hawiye together and darod separate rather then mix it all together and create an environment of competition because we are honestly not on the same 'diya' system and nothing will change that in the foreseable future, or possibly ever.
Now as Somalis I know u love to read for opposition so u can automatically find a hole and deny, this called circular reasoning and your already deciding your outcome and this can lead to your loss because your not actually 'listening' and seeing what the hell is being said in the first place and being impartial.
I wish secularist did the 'operation' jews did for secularist world wide. Remember 'magic carpet operation' for fellow jews in arabia, ethiopia, etc. The secularist won't do that for fellow 'cilmaani' around the world.
