When will you simple-minded bastards learn that race and ethnicity are two separate things? I identify as 100% Somali but since race is a prevalent social construct in the West based on the most superficial physical markers a person has, we fall under the black category. If a Somali calls them self black, then that doesn't automatically mean that they don't see themselves as Somali. It doesn't say anything about their cultural/linguistic pride as a Somali upon first glance. Please be serious.
