Sculptures of Somalis and South Arabians found in Somaliland

I guess we had South Arabians among us at one point. The writing script is currently undeciphered but they left behind some cool sculptures of both themselves and ethnic Somalis.

Notice this is completely different to the Himyarites/Sabeans/Aksumites. Pretty interesting stuff

Here are 2 Somalis

Technically these are the oldest depictions of Somalis that we currently know of, kinda crazy. The sculptures are dated to 2000 or so years ago. You can check out more of this here http://www.robertk.space/2018/11/mysterious-sculptures-from-somaliland/

" Gradually, new archaeological discoveries in East Africa are indicating that this region has been long integrated in the ‘antique’ world, and not only by trading posts of external cultures, but by inland African cultures that flourished and then often disappeared without much trace. "

Only found one source online and a video from somali channel. Someone should send this to an expert, maybe Sada Mire can help.
The article says that according to an expert in yemen these sculptures don't resemble known arabic style. The inscriptions should also be easily identifiable as sabeans but this seems uncertain.
Maybe this was a product of the local somali culture

If the script was sabean we would know. There are many sabean samples in somalia and Ethiopia

These probably weren't sabeans/himyarites/aksumites since the writing is nothing like theirs. It's entirely unique to this area. However the inscription has incurred some damage sadly. More work needs to be done but this is super interesting stuff lol
