That's true that there are Arab descended minorities. However they live only on coastal towns in the south whereas majority of Somali didn't live there.
And barawnis/cadcads whatever are actually shown by some sources to be more Indian than Arab however they claim Arab ancestry to appear more noble to the local somali.
The north is bound to have more Arabian but even that is tiny and is not that much compared to most somalis.

The indian ocean trade is how they exist.
Indian Persian and Arab merchants came to cities like Mogadishu and mixed with local somalis during the medieval period.
However Indian merchants were the biggest and so more of them settled then anyone else. They also mixed with the Bantu slaves living there as well.

Southern Somalis havenβt mixed much with foreigners.
The average Somali has significant (50-60%) Proto-Nilotic ancestry, hence why most look far more closer to Nilotes than Arabs.
