Hijabs or Abayaas aren't mandatory anymore... women can drive, etc.
Somalia is going the opposite direction.

Saudi Arabia has really fucked up the muslim world with their extremism, it's bitter sweet to see them finally modernize and reform.

Typical liberal "Muslim" using Wahhabism as a buzzword for anti-muslim and or arab rhetoric, I've never once seen honest criticism of wahhabists on this site

That’s different. Jews are both a religious group and an ethnic group. Islam isn’t. I’m asking you if you are a muslim. Do you believe in the oneness of Allah (swt) and believe Muhammed (saw) is the last messenger of God?

I believe in God (maybe a little differently then most people), and I do believe that Muhammad (saw) could be a prophet... but who are we to know he's the last one? I think only God knows that.

I also appreciate diversity of thought, hence why I was a proponent of Waaqism. I don't believe only 1 religion is the right way, I think most religions have good components to them.

Well muslim is follower of Islam. And one who submits to Allah swt. So just say islamic culture. Secular muslim kulaha. Islam and Judaism/Jews are different. Secular Jews exist but Secular Muslims don’t.

you just have certain people whom beliefs and own thoughts don’t line up with a religion they grew up with or got introduced by their parents. hence why once they have a thought and mind of their own they leave it. It would have been more disrespectful off her to still be Muslim but not follow any of the rules. If something isn’t for you it just isn’t

Calling those jinni from the Nejd desert as orthodox is an insult to Islam. They are shayadheen who were created and empowered by westerners. A true orthodox who follows Islam strictly like the prophet and his companions would NEVER be like those people. Orthodox wouldn’t step foot near the British and bring down the Ottoman Empire, an Islamic caliphate, with British support. That’s what Wahhabis did.

let’s say someone is born into a catholic family, they’ll grow up being catholic but once they have a thought and mind of their own they would leave if it doesn’t fit them and what they believe in. They would still hold a few catholic beliefs (like not having sex before marriage, being nice to those around you etc etc) but they won’t go to church or go worship to Jesus Christ and believe in the 3 holy spirits you know?

The world isn't so black and white. There are billions of Galaxies... 1-10 trillion planets and we haven't even explored most of the planets next to us. But I understand... all you've probably known is your neighborhood, city, and maybe even country. It's hard to think so open minded to the endless possibilities we have.

Isn’t this a honest critic then? Ugh I don’t judge people based on what they belief in but thinking that other Muslims are kuffars just because they don’t follow Wahhabism is really not nice at all

No. A cultural Muslim and a secular Muslim are 2 different thing.

@Magan95 grew up being Muslim because of influences in her life (maybe her parents?) but left it because it didn’t align with her and who she is as a person.

Cultural Muslims just means she Grew up being Muslim, it doesn’t mean they are Muslim because the definition of it already explains they grew up being Muslim but aren’t anymore because of certain life choices

Yeah France doesn’t favour any religion whatsoever. They banned the Jewish symbols and their head caps a some time ago and got massive backlash but they still did it anyway.
