She isn’t Muslim so no she doesn’t believe in it.

she just grew up with the religion and implies certain things into it in her life:

for example I have a friend who’s a secular Muslim who believes that sex before marriage isn’t a good thing and having meaningless relationships is just hurting the soul itself etc etc
