The influence is semi mutual I never denied that. Somali words like Qura3 are used in Adeni Arabic. However, they have influenced us more than we have influenced them. How we dress and what we eat is evidence of this

Hate to break it to you the Fula people share about 12% Cushitic DNA, the Arabs you proclaim are genetically related to us diverged from us a long time ago and are maternally Natufian, especially the Fula people that live in Sudan, they carry 18% haplogroup T, 34% Haplogroup E1B1B and the rest is R1B, mixed in with a few Nilotic haplogroups.

Clothing, music, pastorlism and even sufism, they are closure to us in terms then arabs, bar Yemenis on the coast.
