HSM is pushing for Firdhiye’s re-election, stating that without it, there will be no SSC state. This is the biggest obstacle so far, which is why Garaad Jaamac is currently in Saax-Dheer.

The number of MPs remains at 66…47 representing Dhulbahante and Fiqishini, 17 for Warsans/smaller tribes in sanaag, and 2 for MJs. Also, there is a growing dissatisfaction among Warsans as there are not happy with the way they’re being treated so expect them voicing their frustration in the coming days.
