I’m not fan of IR and I’m not one to defend marriages to reverts ect but Sam Of Somalia seems genuine. His love for the deen and love for the Somali language and culture is evident. This extreme level of Xenophobia is just stupid and Sam has done what many of us are too afraid to do: move back permanently. It makes sense as to why he did so. He’s married to a Somali woman and doesn’t originate from a Muslim country, so moving to a country in which his children have blood ties to, that is 100% Muslim is a great idea. Also, for all of those that are saying that his wife’s father/grandfather should/are ashamed are silly. I highly doubt it, they’re probably happy that at least theirdaughter/granddaughter married a man who makes a huge effort to learn and fit into her culture and even makes the big step of moving back. Definitely comes across as a man that deeply values his wife and her family despite being from a different background. Ultimately, a man that sees value in their daughter is what every parent wants when it comes to their daughters marriage.
