I have many freinds who drink around me, some even try pressuring me into tasting this forbidden beverage. (Obviously just banter)

But theres one sole reason why I do not drink. It's not because I hate the taste of liquor, or the hangovers. It's because it limits the time I can I spend with my lord. You dont know how awful you feel knowing your prayers aren't being answered because you decided to get drunk the week before.


How many times do you pray?

I'm so proud of you walal. Even though you aren't the most religious person you are trying. The only thing that matters is standing in front of Allah swt. You acknowledge salah and that is amazing. Rather than throwing it away, you embrace it.

Didn't always pray, but one day I read the hadith that said: on Yawmul Hisab [the day of reckoning], the first thing a slave of Allaah is asked about will be salah, if it's good, you will be good, if not, then who knows, Allaah may throw you on your face into Jahannam!

I tell my freinds this all the time, never give up hope. No matter what people say, or how people describe you, you should never lose faith. Prayer brings all of us closer, this is why we feel like a million bucks after every single salat. When you commit a sin, pray. When you make a mistake ask the lord for forgiveness .

Never settle for the idea that Allah doesnt care about you just because a few folks made you feel that way.

Keep up the good work bro. I feel like prayer makes all of us better. I mean ever since I began praying 5 times a day I started cutting off freinds, activities, habits, the list is long.

I try to make it to masjid because home prayer and masjid prayer Salah it's not the same Salah. but for fajar 8 rakas minimum for tahajjud 1 witr 2 raka as sunnah and 2 raka mandatory, the rest just normal. I read a line in Quran that stats they will be 3 groups in qyimah, the winners, the losers and his VIP guest. the correct term the quran use "forerunners" Allah favorite prayers being the night prayers but there optional but his least favorite the day prayers are mandatory
