Never met a Tutsi in real life but from what I have seen online they hate it when they are compared to horn Africans. They are always defensive saying there is no difference between them and their hvtu ''cousins'', and their bantu counter parts in general. The reason for that is because the hvtus during the genocide would accuse tutsi for being invaders from the horn of Africa.

The ones online are the total opposite. Some even get offended when Somalis claim them. Here is some random screen shots I got from the same thread were Horn Africans + Rwandans discus about tutsi's.(its not in order ) I have seen convos like this between HOA and tutsi go like this in other platforms like twitter. From what I have seen they dont like to be compared to us, and barely acknowledge or not acknowledge at all their cushitic mixture. The claim seems one sided most of the time. I guess the ones online are a whole nother breed.

It’s Almost impossible to find third generation sijus who have intermarried with Bantus in Isiolo or Naivasha

It’s very very very hard to find Somali men from Nfd or recent Somali arrivals thatmarry Bantus even Bantu muslims in kenya

this is the same in every diaspora in africa
Kenya South Africa zambia and tanzania

She most have met them outside of Africa in Europe or America

And even there it’s uncommon for SomalI men to marry bantus

I believe Somali men have a deep disdain for Bantus both the men and women

theres truth in that, somalis will claim almost any unrelated group that has women that match their beauty standards or dont look like the bantu stereotype, that being said tutsis are like the massai, they cluster in between other SSA populations and cushitic ones

I have never mistook any ajnabi for a Somali. I can tell the difference between Somali vs. Bantu-Nilo-Cushitic admixed groups. Just because their features are narrow and they are thin, tall and lean does not make them passable.
