Enough is enough for goodness sake! There must be peace negotiations to stop this bloodshed. The global economy is suffering day by day because of this. Ukraine can't win this and Russia is still open to peace talks.

Now that Bakhmut has been conquered by the Russians the Ukrainian position in the Donbas and most of eastern Ukraine is untenable. The only significant objectives left in the Donbas for the Russians is Slovyansk & Kramatorsk which are far less fortified than Bakhmut was. Once these two places are taken the rest of the country up to the Dnipro river is potentially at threat to a Russian advance.
