I boycotted Somali halal stores a long time ago. They are obsessed with goat/lamb meats and never have all types of chicken cuts. Where are the thighs? Where are the breasts? Why do you only have drumsticks? Where is the medium/lean ground beef or any other beef?

I get my halal meat from Walmart or Food Basics (or as the hooyos call it, "Basic Foods"). They know and understand the importance of the diversity of meat and don't shove inferior goat/lamb to their customers as their only option.

I always buy my meat from somali run butcher shops. I will continue to do so! We need some somali run businesses or we could end up like the FBA's!
