Rumour: Farmajo to divorce Kheyre

Mogadishu-KNN-Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo accepted the removal of cabinet lead by Prime minister Hassan Ali Khayre after talks of opposition parties, including MPs, a source told Kulmiye News Network.

There has been discussions between President Farmajo and prominent politicians, including former President of Somalia Sharif Sheekh Ahmed who on Saturday opened a political party in Mogadishu.

The Sunday meeting between Farmajo and Sheekh Shariif took more than five hours and they discussed about building grounds of political stability and restoring cooporations of federal government and federal member states.

Sheekh Sharif, the former TFG President said on Saturday that Somali government has done lower performance than expected and urged to step up efforts to achieve one-man One-vote election in 2021.

On Monday, 22 April, leaders of political parties, MPs and civil society members issued statement requesting the removal of Prime minister Hassan Ali Khayre, reasoning that his cabinet failed to secure the possibility of general elections in 2021, deteriorating security of the Capital and the fight against Al-shabab.

They also accused the Prime Minister that he is responsible political repression and banned the meetings of his opponents to held in Mogadishu.

Is is yet to confirm by the Cabinet or Villa Somalia, but confidential source said that Farmajo took the calls of opposition parties seriously and accepted to change the Prime Minister.

It is not known if the PM was informed, the source added.

President Farmajo vowed in his election campaign that he will avoid conflicts with Prime Minister, that is unlikely previous presidets those had at least two Prime ministers in one term.

It seems he will be replaced by an Abgaal.

There is no dispute Farmaajo appointing Khayre was a genius and a political master class why would he undo that over a few hungry Hiraab hyenas that are powerless,appeasements of war profiteers are a thing of the past,time to bring a government back to Somalia if somehow Khayre gets the axe Ali Geedi will be appointed,a man who’s tough on looters,war profiteers and terrorists who happens to be Hiraab

They speak flowery words. Something no previous administration has done. But if they were to be judged strictly by milestones, all there is is deteriorating security I can’t really think of one good thing they did that isn’t just some P.R stunt

Most anti-SFG people on this site will take everything the IC reports as facts but when the same IC praises this governments achievements they’re either quiet about or will start deflecting it’s interesting
