no, what kind of dumb question is this?
So you do think there are rules that are not related to Allah or the prophet that people can go by?

In terms of governance, No.
There are new problems that didnโ€™t exist back then like integrity of air space or traffic laws.

Do you think there should be none because the quran and hadith didnโ€™t mention it?

Ruling by other than Allah's law is Kufr Akbar
Kufr Duna Kufr Argument is false as one must need to understand the context of the Hadith.
The Khawarij believed Ali RA was a kaffir as he reconciled with Muawiyah RA and they believed he was oppressive.
Tjey believed being an oppressive ruler was Kufr but Ibn Abbas said it was Kufr Less than Kufr.
When there is an ayah that is clear (Q 5.44) there is no need for ta'wil
Ibn Abbas wasnt referring to the ayah

Man made law is fine.

We have rules about car parking now, because cars didn't exist when the Quran came down.

We have rules about e- commerce because Internet didn't exist 1400 years ago etc etc.

Man made laws are necessary.

In terms of governance, No.
Then this is a matter of Ijtihad
If you say there is zero laws that we should follow besides the ones provided in the shariah.

Then i show you examples where new non religious laws are needed you its a matter of Ijtihad.

I ask you know is it permissible for a Muslim government to allow non islamic laws of governance for new issues that wasnโ€™t mentioned in the quran or hadith.
