Yes.
Start with RE2 remake.
As you're a noob, try with the 3rd one (shorter, easier).

I watched a live walkthrough of RE8 (yesterday), a great game!
A mix with the good mechanics of RE4 (the Village, with better IA,etc) and RE7 (with the same scenery as the previous series, the dark shadow-lightening, the same storytelling).

I'd love to acquire this game tbh.

RE7 was the best of the series so far.
