More often than not man stands out from the crowd noisy loud and and demanding to take the reigns for merely self expansion at the cost of the crowd
But once in a while there comes a time where a man stands out out from the crowd without the motivation to enrich himself.. but to safeguard the crowd…
We have to recognise these moments and the tale take signs that come with it.
The question we need to ask ourselves from saylac to raskamboni is simply..
Which of these men do we need as of this point in our nation journey..
To give you an example.. look at Somaliland, the brand they build, the name they build, the peace they build and the political apparatus they build which has been building for three decades!
Siilaanyo, who was all in all a peace maker and a nation builder and a man of wisdom in this day and age that we are in, a man for isaaq and to some extend the entire northern provinces could follow knowing they could upon foundations that promised a better future… when he left they replaced him with a far lesser man, a man known to be a warmonger, a thief and one who is not ashamed to steal while being watched…
Where are they now… at war from borame to ceerigaabo to laascanood and the outskirts of burco- places that haven’t seen clan wars for over 30 years..
Simply because his close clan members are benefitting from the stolen breadcrumbs and therefore support him…
But at what cost?
It’s our responsibility to not look at today but tomorrow for tomorrow will be a longer day than today… The sooner we realise that our collective need for progress is far more enriching for all of us than our desires for selective results that benefit one and not the other.
