How come they speak very similar to us. They say hooyo, use the exact same words to say 'what do you want' and I would saw they use 50% or even more of the vocab we use. The words for body parts ect as well. The similarities are bit too close for us have split that long ago?

That’s what I thought at first but the Swahili speakers don’t use any of these words or phrases. The vocabulary is unique to Somalis. Whatever the case it’s still quite interesting.
