Guys I'm not making this to slander her in way or put her down.. But I'm genuinely interested to know what is the Islamic ruling on voting for a person that has the above political views? I understand immigration policies is important for us Somalis but what about the other political aspects that can affect our kids and families and in some cases erode our Islamic values.. Shouldn’t they be equally important?

In Islam, it’s not haram to vote in fact it’s encouraged to vote. Vote for something that’s a lesser evil than the greater evil, in other words, support politicians who are in the best interests of the Muslim community to ward off the politicians who potentially are harmful to the Muslim or Immigrant communities.

But what about people like Daniel Haqiqatjou who discourage Muslims. Honestly, I hear more Muslims advocating against voting than for. Personally Im for voting but I don't know if its the correct Islamic position.
