The thing with Christians being so low is that whoever labels themselves as a "Christian" in the UK is a proper real Christian.

While others a lot may identity themselves as Muslim or Hindu or jew, while not really practising their religion.

It would be interesting to see this matched with the level of religiosity (observance, attendance, lifestyle factors, self-identification: practicing v.s non-practicing), and then we'll see the breakdowns afterward. It would be great to disaggregate by ethnicity too. That would be interesting.

The ones identifying as Christians live like any other gaal with some extra Christian language. They have sex outside of marriage, they party, they drink, etc., and they're very liberal in the European Westernist sense. They're not different than the non-believers in anything but calling themselves Christians. That is why I can guarantee the average Cadaan Brit would rather marry an Atheist English individual rather than a Christian minority.

The bulk of the "Christians" are superficial identifiers that reduce their religious commitment to observations of mainstream holidays. The ones who go to church often, a portion well within a minority bracket, would rather be coupled with an individual who calls themselves Christian while only viewing it as a cultural characteristic, than a Christian Nigerian, who believes and keeps the same religious commitment. So no, brother. It's not religious commitment that drives these people. Let me give you another nuance. A Nigerian who is more Western than Nigerian (culturally), is Christian in the Western sense, will have a much higher chance of marrying a White Christian, rather than simply matching religion.

The biggest factor why you see the number of intermarriages across religions for Christians, from a chance-based perspective, is the overwhelming demographic domination that on a chance basis, Christians will encounter people similar to them, more often than not. The other aspect is that people who identify as Christians have a relatively very high median age. They grew up with fewer immigrants and were less willing to marry out during the period they married.

These stats don't control for those other conditions.

There is a racial component to people's attraction that is and can be highly significant though it is overtly not stated much.

The reason why Caribbeans prefer to marry White British is because of cultural reasons. Those people are very Western and alien to Africans besides phenotype. There is also a colonial rooted to a racial hierarchy that is culturally implicit. However, I've noticed Jamaicans in the USA usually go for African Americans or other Caribbeans. I think this is because African Americans are likewise fully Western. It makes sense for a Jamaican woman to marry a White man over a Somali.
