You do realise they're called "Reer Xamar" because unlike the other inhabitants they do not have a qabil so it's a way of identifying them. They're not natives to Xamar.

To be fair to OP he's just going based off of what people on here say they come from I'm sure, and not clan. Although there is usually an overlap.

He means cad cads (reer xamar) don't have clans. They do have family names though thats just what they're referred to collectively.
