Pakistanis/Indians/Sikhs aren't running to defend the honour of Somalis nor do they give a crap about Somalis. They are very racist towards us, and call us "Karla". Why should we jump to their defense?

I understand that ajnabis can't tell the difference between us, but Somalis need to worry about Somalis and that's it.

I'm not saying we should jump to their defense, and yea some of them are indeed racist, but if this white guy is targeting them...I'm just saying that Somalis may end up becoming collateral damage of sorts.

This nutter obviously has a picture in his mind of what Muslims/"Pakis" look like and some Somalis fit into that category according to some Westerners (those who aren't experienced with distinguishing between specific phenotypic characteristics). The fact that ajnabis can't tell the difference should concern you (even if you're only worried about Somalis & don't believing in defending Desis) because the 'racial' ignorance of the perpetrator can also result in Somalis getting harmed as well.

Yh in UK we call south Asians like Indian Pakistani Asian whereas in North america they call Chinese Japanese etc Asian because there's more of them then other asians

Nah, from Canada. We have Indians/Bangladeshis here too but it's mostly the Chinese/Koreans Japanese/Vietnamese (and some times Filipinos) who get referred to as "Asians". Anyone from the Indian subcontinent is usually just generalized as "Indian" only.
As you alluded to, the difference in labeling is most likely a demographic thing I guess.
