Minimum wage has being raised substantially this April.

Rents will come down with Labour house building strategy.

Be realistic. Tories have been in for 14 years causing pure chaos. Labour haven't even been in for 10 months. Give them time.

Even with 10 months they already done a lot of good stuff: renters bill, increased Minimum wage, NHS waiting reduction, increased averages wages by 3.5% and economy is growing. All in less than a year.

Give them more time. It's childish to expect them to magically fix everything wrong the 14 years of Tories created in less than a year.
Yes, it’s totally not like Starmer’s ‘island of strangers’ speech could trigger another race riot summer like last year

it’s clear that labour is trying to appease to the right while also losing it’s anti-Zionist and actual centre-left voter base

can you believe that labour was once a worker’s union? They haven’t been the same since blair and they are only getting more conservative as the years go on

Another good point made. I think its still too early to see what labours doing. I didnt like the change with university loans and the backtracking with the promises however we shall see more in the coming months and years what hes truly made out of.

I hope hope hope he condemns Israel
He won’t, not unless the entire west turns on them first. Spain is standing up on their own at the moment, being the first European government to outright call it a Genocide. Meanwhile, Germany housed Nehenyatu like he’s royalty

That’s 100% fair, the entire uk political system is a mess. Focus on voting someone good into your constituency, and mayor (if your area has one). Party-wise it’s messed up.

And dw about a wasted vote, my area is a Labour stronghold, my vote is going to do nothing lmfao

Reform is still a third party and look at how popular they’re getting. This ‘wasted vote’ mindset is what will turn the UK into a populist oligarchy like the USA

Labour have 7500 councillors and 400 + MPs . Reform have 700 councillors and like 7 MPs. Reform voters are too spread out and in a first past the post system, that means millions of votes = 7 mps.

The voting system in the UK just means it's two party system unfortunately.

Tories won so much because they never had any right wing challengers until Reform. UKIP and BNP were less of a problem than Reform. Even though the 4 millions UKIP voters in 2010 scared David Cameron so much he promised us Brexit referendum.

The system in the UK just means it's either Labour or Tories. So your choice. Don't kid yourself that you have any other choice. If you vote Green/Liberals/Independent, your just voting Tories.

Even me, mines a labour stronghold. I wish I lived in Islington. Imagine having CORBYN as your mp for your constituency. I would be so happy omg

You’re acting like no other party has ever come close to power.

e.g. Lib Dem’s were on a rise, even having a coalition with Conservatives at one point.

The system will only be two party if everyone treats it as such. But I do think we should change our voting method to PR voting, but it has its own downsides too

The speech was falsely accused of being like Enoch Powell ( it wasn't). You know who supported Powell a lot? Traditional workers unions like dock workers who are traditional Labour supporters.

This is a right wing country. Don't kid yourself, every time a socialist has been put in front the British public said no.

So with that knowledge, I rather just vote for the guy who is going to make my life easier; the one who will build more houses, increase growth and wages and reduce crime. Which is Labour.

Liberals use to be very popular before the second world war, until Labour was created in the 1920s

It use to be in the UK

Whig party vs Tories for hundreds of years.

Then

Liberals vs Tories

Then

Labour vs Tories.

Do you notice a pattern it's always two parties . It doesn't matter what it is . It's always two parties because of the voting system.

Bob metaphor might be true, but Bob will vote for right wing parties.

Well, I made some factual points on how Labour isn't moving right wing. Labour today isn't the Labour of Corbyn or the Labour before Blair in the 80s.

But do you know what socialist Corbyn Labour and 80s pre Blair Labour have in common? They both lost and they both did absolutely zero for anyone they professed to care about zilch for the homeless, zilch for the miskiin hooyo with 6 kids, zilch for miskiin Palestinian.

Because at the end of the day, you can only affect change by having power, if you don't want to have power and make a difference that's fine. Stay in the protest student politics. Laakin, move out of the way and let someone like Starmer/Blair actually win.

Labour sure is fixing up, they did say they won’t send more weapons to Israel

Starmer is focusing on what’s really important, the economy and not immigrants or anything!

And I mean, a really very important focus on saving lives and sheit

He has absolutely no primary agenda

I could go on but that’d be my week gone, spent looking at Starmer’s lies
