High cost of living, shit weather, poor pay compared to America,Australia etc, Tory dominated society, the Tory government has been in power for over a decade now and they just elected a new even more extreme far right prime minister. Houses are too small and expensive, crime through the roof. The only thing the U.K. has got is nhs, but even that is in danger of getting privatised. U.K. was a great place to live back in 1990s and 2000s when labour was in power. Now it’s a shithole and to be honest I need to leave this rainy depressing island. Where can I go?

2 of my sisters already moved to Canada. Its something I might consider but at the same time there far to much opportunity in London. No where in Canada can compare

But NHS getting privatized is good, which means better care for patients and shorter waiting time for them as well and they can pay through insurance schemes and better pay for doctors.

I heard Middle East can be a lot racist to non Arabs, which puts me off.

I grew up in the Middle East and I never experienced racism. Maybe in private work conditions, like Egyptians and Palestinians suffer from discrimination in Saudi Arabia even though they look them. If you work remotely then you don’t have to mingle with local co-workers or anything. No one would say a word to you in the streets.

I’ve been to the UK there’s a lot of opportunities ofc but at the same time, the cost of living is tremendous. The only way you can sacrifice that is if you move to a suburban area with slightly less cost, but with practically no Somalis.

idk about Canada but in MN you just have to find a good job, and buy a fat house and your set for the rest of your life, and you will atleast have 1 Somali neighbor on your block
