Instead of transporting live animals, somalis should own the whole supply chain. Meat processing plants should be present in every corner of somaliweyn, there is only 1 or 2 currently. Next somalis should own the ships transporting goods.

Nonetheless, livestock should not be exported in the future once somalis have better sourcs of income. Overgrazing is destroying our land and furthering desertification. Also less somalis are consuming meat/protein, leading to various health issues.
