Reer London, it’s not worth living in this city anymore.

Lmaoooo when Tory Boris Johnson was the major in 2008, he was shambles mate, crime rate in London was it its record highest in 2008
Under Boris Johnson.

labour has done good things, no one denies that, kicking the backside of Serbians who killed Muslims, though UK provided weapons and money to Serbia for decades

but all you showed me is a government that robs Peter and pays Paul, how fair is it to tax one person and give to another when said taxed person worked hard and needs the money

all you showed me is the state dolling money so called free money, but nothing is free in life, someone pays for it

i bet you if you were taxed high amounts like us self employed people you will stop praising the state

since you love the state spending other peoples money, why dont you cut 100% of your salary and send it to them?

you are in awe of the state spending spending other peoples money, if it was yours you will have second thoughts,

1% of tax payers pay over 1/3 % of all taxes, how bloody fair is that? when you communists pay your fair due as same as the rest of us, i will respect you lot,

how bloody fair is it that we are burned with more and more progressive taxes the more we make, yet you communists lap your mouths all day but yet pay almost zero,

in fact the average communist pays zero taxes after you take into account government benefit transfers and tax rebates,

Top 1% of earners in UK account for more than a third of income tax

In research underlining the dual nature of Britain’s income tax structure, the Institute for Fiscal Studies said above-inflation increases in the personal allowance to £12,500 a year meant 42% of adults paid no income tax.

THESE ARE EMPLOYED ADULTS BY THE WAY, JUST IN CASE

since you are also burdened with silly high taxes, please remind these communist kids who most likely pay zero tax that taxes are already high enough for us hard working chaps

yeah right. Labour gave us the 2008 crash sxb and taxes were much higher and never mind the huge debt they created

I fear Labour return due to higher taxes. Labour is only good for illegal immigrants and transvestism rights. but terrible for the rest of us and the economy.

specially terrible if your self employed or own a small business.

tories are good for taxes and those who invest. Labour hates success and hard word and capitalism

Insha Allah I intend to leave anyways. No long term future for me here. The country has become an enemy to those who work hard and invest and punishes you the more money you make. It’s called progressive taxation. Utter hog wash. It’s designed to make sure you don’t succeed or have ambitions

labour: rob Peter and give to Paul.
This is so wrong.

We are now more broken than we were in 2008 which was a GLOBAL financial crisis. Unless you think little England can shape the economy of America and Europe on its own this was unavoidable.

Living standards have plummeted under the Tories. They have become anti-business and we’ve gone from 2-3% growth under labour to 0.8-1.2%. They have gutted the public sector. Everyone is miserable, wake up

Also @peacemaker you should have a look at the tax burden under Labour in 1997/2010 compared to now

19CC6436-9CD9-4202-B180-AA895E71637B.png

We now have the highest tax burden in 70 years. Young people who go to university have an even higher tax burden with the 9% graduation tax.

@peacemaker still blaming labour after 12 years of Tory rule. Lmaooo come on man, start blaming your own party
Broken record. It’s like the Tories are stuck in the 70s when the far left was in charge of Labour.

The simplest way of putting it is we’re back to how it was under the last Tory government in 97. We’re going to need yet another Labour government to fix public services, inequality, poverty, economy like always.

Exactly, the tories are in shambles now, imagine the billionaire rishi sunak who’s soo out of touch of the British people becomes the prime minister? Lmaooooooo

This is not the same Labour as in the 70s. Tax is already at record high under this conservative government so it would be suicidal to raise them further. Keir Starmer’s labour is far more like Tony Blair’s.

We must grow the economy to fund increased spending. Growth has been destroyed by Brexit and covid. It is now going to get even worse with stagflation.

To fix this first we need to realign with the EU. We are losing our competitiveness as we lose access to just in time industries and higher import/export fees resulting in our massive fall in exports.

We then need private and public partnerships to see improvements in productivity. Only by improving our productivity that way we can increase wages without inflation. We can also use these partnerships to deliver public services like in the NHS more efficiently. Labour for example will use private healthcare companies to deliver NHS services to reduce the massive backlog we have.

Finally we need to reduce the cost of living, the biggest cost people have are housing and energy. Investing in the green economy and building millions of homes would give millions of households more money in their pocket.

rishi is not a billionaire, though his father in Law is founder of Infosys and a billionaire

also we need rich politicians to become leaders, if we get a poor prime minister he will spend time robbing the country or thinking of ways to steal

like Biden, they just found out he gave contracts to his son hunter, so we need a rich person to lead, biden has done a lot of fishy stuff if trump did it he would have been impeached

i want my prime ministers to be super wealthy rich and blue blood, then its in his interest to lower taxes for his friends and thus people like me benefit

we dont need poor leaders, rich people are way nicer and kind and ideally a rich guy like rishi who is self made as a former investment banker is even better as he understands how wealth works and how hard people work to become rich

poor people make terrible politics, in fact we should ban poor people voting and anyone who does not own land, property or doe snot pay taxes should be banned from voting

also ban females from voting, they are more likely to vote for qaniis rights and teen pregnancy

in fact anyone under 35 is too stupid most of the time, so ban under 30s from voting, and ban benefit receivers and poor people and those who do not pay taxes from voting, those a few under 30s are wise/smart, most are hippie socialists

let only men, 30+ in age, tax payers, business owners, and those with landed property only should vote

society is better ran when men who are self made, hard workers, business owners, tax payers or those who own property/land rule it, or highly educated men vote

in Jubbaland, we should also add where only Absame men 30+ in age should vote, no minority should be allowed to vote and definitely no female - no offence sister but you girls spend more time on make up videos than really being aware of

those highly educated, business owners, 30+, men, landeere of their society and tax payers just like it was in the USA in the early days , insha Allah we should have this in jubbaland too

when any tom, dick and harry is allowed to vote, specially those who do not work, we get chaos, we get communists leaders voted in who will rob peter and give to Paul

but the tax payer and land/property owners care about society and how its managed

i am not gona insult brother Biden, your cool bro and my favourite Hawiye online with @Woke1.4rm.Shibis

but there is a lot of fallacies here, its normal, sadly the mainstream media pundits always bring in economically illiterate pundits who have no clue what they they are saying, and worst yet they dont even have economic degrees

anyways, who will pay for all these porkies ? if labour will be honest and say we will borrow massively and leave future generation with huge debt bills, and we will inflate our way to stimulate and also hike taxes, then i will trust them, but let them be honest

but if yall want to rob Hussain to pay Hassan, also be honest, the state has no income except when she inflates, taxes or borrows debt, and all of them need to be paid by someone, who is it gona be?

by the way it takes 8 years to get a permit to build properties, thanks to labour and tony Blair, labour did this because a lot of them are property investors and if house supply increase, prices come down, so they always used to block making it easier to build homes

you boys in here need a lot more economic knowledge before I will even debate you lot, otherwise we will just confuse one another,

Lol blaming labour when the Tory government is still 12 years into their rule. Every problem you mention now, is due to the tories.

I was good at econ but I’m more of a mathematician. Regardless I believe these are just political truths. The tories have brought us to our economic woes and deteriorating public services.

All that austerity and shrinking the state has ruined our growth which is why the burden of tax has been raised significantly under the tories.

I’ll be back here in 2 years when the Labour Party win the next election
