Reconciliation in 2017

It's been 26 years since the Central Government has collapsed, 26 years without any real reconciliation.

Why hasn't there been any real reconciliation since the Barre admin fell? Do Somalis enjoy anarchy? Are particular clans acting as an obstacle to progress?

Will we ever see real reconciliation? Will the same fools always protect their clan's criminals, making excuses for them and letting them into government?

Will there ever be a time were the civilians take reprisals on the criminals that ruined our nation, or on the stooges that facilitate the colonisation of our broken nation by poverty stricken African countries?

Willpeople abandon qabyaalad? Will people treat the Madhibaan better?

Will anything get better?

Are we cursed?

We are not cursed, we are just unfortunate.
Give it a few years, if nothing happens then then give it another few years.
Hopefully by the time you reach 60 we will have solved some issues

Only a nationalist party can bring back midnimo as it will deprive power from this people below who have always been an obstacle to somali unity and progress.

* clan elders ( oday dhaqameed) have been one of the major obstacles since most are corrupt and act like they work for the interests of the clan when in reality they work for their own self gain. Barre after 1969 deprived the command from this group hence Why they had no substance until around late 80's.

* rogue politician and the majority of the somali politicians are out there to fill their stomachs and absolutely care about nothing, so they been a barrier to reconciliation as they use the clan card at the right time.

* religious leaders the most two faced mofos out there, they have long been leeching the people and use religion to their advantage whenever an opportunity came by. At the peak of somali nationalism this group disappeared from the map until they resurfaced with power in 90's.

* corrupt businessmen: they are the ones who benefitted and thrive the most from the chaos and lack of central government as they pocket millions from their illegal businesses. They sit on gold and would not easily let it go.

If Somalia has any hope of progressing then someone has to stop those guys!

What you are witnessing is the balkanization of Somalia into clan fiefdoms. It's not even federalism. There was never meant to be reconciliation. What you were witnessing is an Ethiopian project being played out.
