They know they're in the wrong but they're rather keep Ogaden & NFD if they can hold on to it.

To be honest ogadenia should stay in Ethiopia for a couple more years because joining the fgs will hinder its development

Actually most livestock which SL and PLs economy relies on comes from Ogadenia also Somalia doesn’t do anything for its citizens but in Ethiopia they pay for minimal amount of things like roads schools etc

You know Somalias in a bad situation considering the only one who would be worse off economically would be Ogadenia little do Somalis know their own plight

Somalia will be always kept down the gov doesn’t serve its people’s interests thats the single greatest thing Somalia lost after MSB was removed. The FGS needs to free itself from being the TFG. You guys talk about them as enemies when this is the president

Those regions will rely on themselves to put things aside clan wise and use there budget (top 3 in ethiopia) to build up things on there own end. Somalia should focus on ending the civil war as South somalia is in the worst situation in the entire horn in every possible way right now. The IC would never let a region that large join a failed aid paper state dagaal with another country shouldn’t be on your minds.

It's foreign interference that the real obstacle.

Even baboons can self organize when needed but self interest takes over when a bigger predator is in their midst.

Not blaming our own incompetence on others...that was the origin of all this but we can't fix anything when it's in the interest of other larger powers to make sure we fail.

We need to start hiring the right people in the right places. If there’s no Somali oil expert we should have hired a foreign one as a consultant. But I guess the Somali ego is too high to do so.

We need to have massive literacy campaigns and sweeping educational reforms, this should help neuter AS and gear the population with enough knowledge to help propel the economy.

Of course, first we would need politicians that were competent coupled with integrity and long focus. None of the politicians in all of Somalia unfortunate are like that, most are interested in their own qabil power or furthering their own interests rather than creating a historical creed for the nation.

If you were to make Somalia a strong,self reliant, independent country, how would you achieve those goals.

1 relocate the capital to less problematic areas.
2. Create very reliable, less corrupt police forces and secret services.
3. Imprison all the criminals from 1979- 2020, probably millions.
Since you know geeljires are hot headed and lazy, I'm gonna use the prisoners as a free labor to build massive farm lands, roads, public housing.
4. Implement 8 hours mandatory education/skills training, common knowledge about the modern world and what the life in 2020 should look like.
5. Create 8 free economy zones.
6. Install thousands of wind turbines and make the people pay it monthly for 5 years, so they can get 20 years of free electricity.
7. Reconstruct all the religious education systems, like dugsis, mosques, religious schools. I will only allow trusted and qualified teachers to educate people about religion, I will silence all the religious extremists.
8. Create a system that makes doing business in Somalia the easiest in the world.
9. Protect property, intellectual property rights.
10. Ask the diaspora to invest industrial banks, such as Somali agriculture bank, construction bank, energy bank, tech investment bank and give shares to Somali diasporas. The more share you buy, the more you make, it's a win win.
11. Invest into media, create some world famous NEWS CHANNELs, PAPERs, TVs
12. Make reforms in the government institutions, that convinces more foreign investors to invest in Somalia.
13. Create nation wide apprenticeship schools, to train highly skilled labor force.
14. Create a TAX heaven to attract big corporations, big investment banks, so I can create an illusion that Somalia is a wealthy country in terms of GDP and that will attract more foreign firms to invest in the country.
15. harsh punishment for corruption and security disruption( life sentence).
16. Make internet, electricity, gas, water very cheap and accessible to everyone in every corner of the country.
