i've seen pretty girls who are insecure
if you see your face in the mirror every day, it becomes "normal" to you and you see every flaw so that's how insecurity starts with your appearance
other people don't see those same flaws usually
and since people have different perceptions of beauty, they may or may not compliment you, even if you are attractive
