Rapprochement between Assad and Erdogan

The meeting of defense ministers will be followed by meetings between their foreign ministers. Eventually the two heads will come together for a summit. Erdogan will get support from Assad to dismantle the Kurds in northwest Syria while the Free Syrian Army will be under the mercy of Assad with no support from its biggest backer in Turkey.

May Allah empower the people of Syria to fight against Bashar even harder and remove him and his filthy regime from power. The people of Syria, especially in liberated areas do not want any reconciliation with this terrorist illegitimate regime.

The free Syrian army is toothless. As long as HTS is still around Northern Syria will not fall to Assad. Just recently HtS captured Afrin city from the Turkish backed FSA.

Jolani is evil but he is a necessary evil. Under his brute control there is a sense of stability and freedom in Idlib. He is neither a puppet of Assad nor a Turkish controlled leader like FSA

Jolani knew the treachery of Isis & AQ in Syria but back then he was too powerless to make a confrontation.

They’d get destroyed like Nusra were in Aleppo and ISIS in Raqqa. I do not want to see another version of that but in Idlib and Afrin which now houses millions of people.

Erdogan however has sold Turkey to Russia. They are propping up the Turkish economy single-handedly so I wouldn’t be surprised if he capitulates to Assad
