In Asia hundreds of women get rapped, and ppl usually question what the woman was wearing or why she was walking in that place in that exact time, this happens in India, paki, or Bangladesh.

In the Arab world the woman either (1) got killed in the name of honor killing, and the killer ( a relative to the woman, brother, father etc) get light punishment according to the law, or

(2) she get married to the rapist (Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia although Tunisian law have been changed), in the 2nd case the court will ask the rapist he either go to jail (few years) or marry the woman that he rapped.

This 2nd case happens when a guy wants to marry a girl but the mehir is too expensive or the woman clan/father don't want this guy to marry their/his daughter.
