Ramadan 2020 Goals

Assalamualaikum Somalispot family,

Jummah Mubarakah to you and your families. I know with this virus going around it's easy to forget that we're less than two weeks away from the blessed month of Ramadan. Last Ramadan was the best Ramadan that I've ever experienced so far alhamdulilah and when I think back it's largely due in part to my good friend who invited me to a halaqa about a month before Ramadan. The halaqa was dedicated to being prepared for Ramadan. We encouraged each other to write down specific goals that we wanted to fufil in the blessed month. So now I'm here motivating you all to do the same.

I would encourage you all to create a note in your phone's "Notes" section titled "Ramadan 2020 Goals" and think about *specific* goals that you want to accomplish and write them down. Think of goals that are reasonable and attainable for what you can handle. Do you want to pray taraweeh at least 2x a week? Do you want to read Surah Al-Kahf every Friday? Do you want to donate a specific amount of money to charity every week? Do you want to pray outside once a week? Do you want to watch at least one Islamic video a day? Is there a specific dua that you want to memorize?

Write your goals down and inshaAllah you can check them off as you accomplish them. And inshaAllah at the end of Ramadan, visualizing your sucess will make you feel good about what you've accomplished and inshaAllah you can either step up your goals for next Ramadan or continue on with the great habits that you've started this Ramadan for the rest of the year.

May Allah SWT protect us and our families and may He allow us to see this blessed month. اللهم بلغنا رمضان

Does anyone feel like sharing their Ramadan 2020 goals? Do you have any practical tips/advice (ex: preparing and freezing Ramadan food from now)?

mashaaAllah may Allah reward you in abundance, for the reminders.
I for one want to memorize more Qur'an, ponder upon its meanings, and implement it in my life.

Ur aabo has the bytch nigga diabetes thats why
Diabetes is a life long hereditary disease with life long complications. I assure you, each type of diabetes is dangerous and hard to live with, so don't make fun of the kid's dad for having one particular type over the other. It's rude and insensitive.
