It is a free hands off legislation and you can attach your phone to your bidaar if you want. We had this law for 18 months now and it specifies that the phone should be away from your body and not touching at all. People here use car phone holders. What happens when you receive a shocking call while driving? Not worth it. That is why I use the Apple 'don't disturb while driving' and instead use my phone for music.
