That's true for every African population.

Black is just a metonym for very dark skin.

There are people in places like Middle East & Asia that are darker than me and they are still not considered black so what gives?

Do they also have 55% Sub-Saharan genetic markers? Do they also speak a language with origins in the continent? A significant portion of your North African ancestry has origins with people that were originally less Eurasian, so it's apples & oranges, mate.

SSA term was created by white people 100 years ago. North Africans speak Berber languages which has origins in the continent doesn't mean they are black. You need to get your head out the sand my guy.

Just because something is a construct doesn't mean that it doesn't refer to something that is concrete.

The Iberomaurusians (ancestors of the Berbers) were more biracial than their modern descendants; and Berbers derive most of their Eurasian ancestry from females, so it's unlikely that their language has its origins with Eurasians.
