Race and blood pressure

I’ve heard about this phenomena: where people from a different ethnic groups requires different health needs.

Somalis/sub-saharan Africans for example: are likely to get vitamin D deficiencies; if they’re not exposed to sun.

I’ve also heard madows are more Likely to get higher blood pressure than other races.

It’s not all that surprising when you realise our ancestors all lived in different parts of their environments.

So when us diasporas are forced to integrate to a newer climate: we’re likely gonna experience some possible deficiencies and other negative symptoms of health problems.

One of the biggest scams of the 21st century -is hearing people say “we’re all equal”.

Exactly, we all lived in different climates, survived off different foods ect.
What I need to do to get optimal health for my body may not be the same as a Chinese man.
We all have different genetic backgrounds and different health requirements.

Sooner we realise this, medical care will be much better.

Indeed.

As an adult: looking back at my teenage years

-it was pretty bad.

I remember staying indoors, since I become comforted in where I was.

Due to technology and so on.

Going outside nowadays and getting exposure to the sun gave me an insane natural stimulation.

I actually got more energetic since I got exposed to the sun. Insane!

I find this to be a quite of a compliment.

It’s something you’d hear from a mythology: we’re like gods getting our energies through the sun.

kkkk

I believe it's actually proven that the sun gives you energy or at least a "boost"

Not just sub Saharans but any people who have lived in warm climate Arabs too

I don’t know about this, you have to account for various factors such as income, stress, diet etc to find any statistically significant difference.

I'm always around 105-110/60-70 but I have slightly elevated ferritin and have always had low white blood count (3.8 to 4.5). I don't think they are a cause for concern though.

Somalis are such people man, our blood pressure can be 180 and be fine. We can survive with one lung, naturally recover broken spine and can do many other things mashallah the nomad warrior city building people how do you think we built the pyramids?

Remember that racial differences can be acknowledged, as long as he talks about something as benign as blood pressure and BMI. This Indian masterfully broke the premise that race is merely skin deep in a casual, informal way. Imagine if he asserted the same racial contrast with human development index scores or GDP. I promise the reply to this thread will not be six informal emojis.

Isn't it obvious? Of course we're all different. We all lived in different regions & climates, with different diets and genetics etc, of course we're all going to have different health needs.
