As far as I know, literally 0. Their family are like family friends of ours. The wedding was just a little sketchy. Super sudden, a little forced and she was older than him. The whole family (mostly siblings) were opposed to it. Then she threw him out (potentially justified), ignored calls from his parents (who are genuinely miskeen folks) and refused dialogue. His mum went to see her in person and she refused to let her in and that's when she rubbed everyone the wrong way.

Exactly... I’m not sure why people expect men & women to lower their standards, especially women, when it comes to seeking marriage at a later age. It’s better to keep your standards & find a good husband/wife, than to settle for less & have a potentially tumultuous relationship

Your standards are yours alone. Dont let anyone use fear to manipulate you into lowering your standards. You will feel 10x worse if you succumb to their tactics.
