Keep the Harti that want you and their lands and the rest should join Puntland.
However, those Harti must realise that Puntland will also seek independence, so do they want to be with Isaaq or Daarood?

Puntland's best chance for independence is to agree a deal with and join Somaliland so the two peaceful, development oriented people of Puntland and Somaliland become one. Your former president Faroole already proposed it a few years ago

Somaliland troops established a foothold in Yubbe and Puntland countered it by sending local clan soldiers to prevent moving further into Eastern Sanaag.
Regarding Sool Puntland Ministers visit districts like Taleh, Boocame and many more.
Puntland Ministers and Vice President visit Togdheer (Cayn) Buuhoodle and surrounding areas.
They have military bases, governor and mayors in those areas. Projects are conducted there.
There should not be fighting and problem is Laascaanood. People should not lose precious life over dusty villages and ruin economies through militarisation when this resources could go to the poor.

It's in no one interest to fight. Beelaha bariga SSC dont want PL, and they don't want us. Eastern SSC is not Somalia, civilians wont be blown up if they have disagreements

Politics is not 'grant me a wish'. Most people talk about what they wish rather what is the reality on the ground.

Referendum? The only referendum that would be held in Somaliland would be if the UN agreed to monitor a referendum to leave or stay in the union with Somalia Italiana. No clan based referendums will happen in Somalilands borders. We leave that for you 4.5 Somalians
