Didn’t expect qpadm to be this hard even without the technical aspect of running it in a virtualized Linux environment. Like getting decent models that make sense to pass was extremely difficult , seems like their is a steep learning curve to it

The Umayyad period samples are pure Arabians straight from Arabia. They resemble modern Yemenis/Saudis. Moroccan sample is to account for ANA ancestry

Ancient North African. It makes up half the ancestry of Paleolithic & Early Neolithic Maghrebis. It is also exists in Natufian to a lesser degree and of course in us as well.

Good proxy, dna doesn't preserve very well in hot climates, hopefully we can use whatever method they did for nuerat sample for other untapped graves across NEA

I already use Papuan, Mobutu & Karitania alongside other pops as my standard reference pops. My results of 56% Dinka-like matches well with G25 and what we know of Somalis/Horners from published studies
