Good! the al shabaab funders are bickering. May iran keep them busy.
It’s not about that, it shows OPEC nations that your all Saudi Arabia’s dog if your still part of this organisation that essentially run by the SaudisThis is irrelevant. Qatar isn’t even top 10 oil producing countries in the world

Correct, Qatar in he field of oil is irrelevant, but as a OPEC, and arguably the richest nation in the group it still holds influence, UAE isn’t a lapdog but they do follow Saudi lead in most matters.Yeah and Qatar is no heavyweight so whatever they do is irrelevant. UAE who’s supposedly “saudi Arabia’s dog” in your words are top 10 themselves and doing good.
Which is an area i hope Somalia focuses on, Europe is looking to diversify its suppliers and LNG is 70 percent more expensive than pipe lines gas. Somalia could make a killing heating Europe up.Qatar was in OPEC because it has one of the largest reserves of LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) in the world
The E.U. and G.C.C. are very well aware of this fact! Which is why they have been dead set on keeping Somalia divided and desolate for as long as possible. The existence of Somaliland yet its repeated denial in global acknowledgment as a state bears testament to that truth.Which is an area i hope Somalia focuses on, Europe is looking to diversify its suppliers and LNG is 70 percent more expensive than pipe lines gas. At the same time we can stick it to the Russians for what they did to us.
We somalis need to solve our own insular problems first! then we can choose good trade and business partners to help us utilise our resources. Somali cuzzos should focus on reinvesting heavily into the rebuilding of a United Somali Confederacy, along with facilitating sustainable population growth in Somalia to effectively stave off EU/USA/GCC intervention and securing a strategic yet profitable trading zone along its Ethiopian, Djiboutian, and Kenyan borders in particular.
**Note how Turkey is paying to Lease Sudan's Saukin Island, which has the GCC outraged**
Of course, such an outline must be achieved in congruence with exploitation of Somali LNG reserves along with propping up a well established, extensive, multi-faceted manufacturing base that is both sustained by domestic demand and inland inter-regional trade, supplemented with diverse Somali-owned maritime/shipping based industries that profits heavily from international commerce.

Not going to happen Somalia is hell bend on bring centralism to Southern Somalia, sooner or later Puntland will fall and Somaliland negotiation will happen to bring them back into the foiled.Confederalism is the best route towards a reformed and United Somalia, as it would be most conducive for answering the needs of Somalia's strong Qabiil and Regional systems.
Republicanism has been way too messy and highly beneficial to non-Somalis.
Somalis need a fractal government that reflects its fractal society in order to attain true unity, for Imposed centralism is inherently disruptive to the people.
This will change in due time....
All in all LGN would bring in the cash for Somalia to do such things, top on the list would be water we need multiple desalination plants, river rejuvenation for the northWe somalis need to solve our own insular problems first! then we can choose good trade and business partners to help us utilise our resources. What is LGN? we also need to invest in agriculture, and army and navy to protect our sea resources. We also need a strong border patrol to keep al shabaab at bay and to monitor unwanted migration into somalia. If we can control our border then we can limit al shabaab support and payment from foreign powers. Not going to happen Somalia is hell bend on bring centralism to Southern Somalia, sooner or later Puntland will fall and Somaliland negotiation will happen to bring them back into the foiled.
Somalis dont need institutionalised division, 68 IQ and Qablist badiyo mindset doesn't allow for complex political structure

Confederalism always ends bad, and as Von said, structuring our political institutions based on qabil doesn't allow for any major efficiencient movements. I think social attitude must change. Not use our current fractured social attitude to mold an ineffective weak political system.Confederalism is the best route towards a reformed and United Somalia, as it would be most conducive for answering the needs of Somalia's strong Qabiil and Regional systems.

If Confederalism is established on mutual grounds then it can work. Confederalism has worked for Switzerland, Canada, and even the UK to a lesser extent.....Confederalism always ends bad, and as Von said, structuring our political institutions based on qabil doesn't allow for any major efficiencient movements. That's an unlikely if. I would like that to happen, but i see no evidence at this point. And to the point in confederalismIf Confederalism is established on mutual grounds then it can work. Confederalism has worked for Switzerland, Canada, and even the UK to a lesser extent.....

Absolutely true. Too many subdivisions, and you risk never being able to ever establish any unamity. Too much centralism, and you risk pushback as it can be perceived as imposition. That's an unlikely if. I would like that to happen, but i see no evidence at this point. And to the point in confederalism
"decision-making in the general government usually proceeds by consensus (unanimity) and not by majority, which makes for a slow and inefficient government. These problematic features, limiting the effectiveness of the union, mean that political pressure tends to build over time for the transition to a federal system of government, as happened in the American, Swiss, German and European cases of regional integration."
You see, all those countries changed to federal systems.
