I think he is speaking more symbolically, that africa does not have the the good quality instututions like health, education, we lack good infrastructure and don't really produce anything significant, even though we have all the components to do so. The chinese were looked down upon, they were super poor not too long ago, but they studied the western innovations and industries, and with this new knowledge they made bad quality immitations that was more affortable and closed off their economy to outside speculators. And they were loyal and had fatih in a long term plan, but in africa we don't really have that, evorybody that got an oppurtuniy, jumps in a boat fast for a perfect life in europe. He was wrong, but i think he makes a good point. Because even though i could live in my country, if i got sick, i would jump on a plane to norway to get the best treatment. Our elites don't reside in somalia they have left the country long time ago, and the country suffers from brain drain, which is a big problem for all the poor countries.

Russia has many puppet satellite states it controls. All those shitty states surrounding it like Kazakhstan, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia etc are controlled by Russia de facto. This is what makes Russia geopolitically more powerful than it is alone.

As for China, they have a gazillion people and unlike the ,past they are now more or less a middle economy country, not dirt poor.

The us has over 900 military bases around the world and has the most powerful allies. I don't personally like the u.s military industrial complex, but they have the best weapon technology to date. But hypothetically speaking, war between these countries would decimate the world.

I know the US is the top dog, but Russia and China are the only two other serious contenders. They are permanent members of the UN Security Council.

The UK and France/EU are too much in line with the US.
