Puntlanders let us be fair and rounded

We should post threads about the states various issues and not only photo-op's or feel good threads.

For example somebody posted pictures of Qandala few weeks ago totally ignoring that the vast majority has not returned yet and are displaced. They also forgot to mention that it was recently liberated from the clatches of ISIS.

Why would someone withhold such crucial information and not inject a short mention.

There are problems in the US, UK and Australia. How things are corrected in this countries is that people point them out and discussed. A census will be reached.

When you read the Guardian, Washington Post or even watch the BBC they will show you different angles of their country some negative and highly critical, government spokes people and local governments than have the chance to respond or defend themselves. It is called check and balance.

If we have pink blinkers on and are immune to the states problems surely it is a sign of caring for a brand but not the people.

If you have an product and it is defect but you ignore what people's issues with it are and do not see it as an opportunity to fix and enhance your product your marketing strategy will eventually not be useful. There is no in-house solution or looking for problems because you do not have the scale and scope of the field.

That it is why developers come up with solutions of fixing defects in products by looking into its reported defects.

So how come western born and educated young people find it so difficult to look for solutions in their state instead of posting glittering pictures of cars in oil rich countries but ignoring the state of Bosaso for example.

Who loves the state or are these young people using the state as some kind emotional blanket-comforter like that guy in the comic brown something.

It is time for a emotional rethink

I would only discuss certain things about puntland only with other Puntlanders but places like this where theres people who despise puntland there's no way in hell I would discuss certain things.

Cognitive it is ala admitting things I believe it is something psychological (emotional) and being young.

Puntland if anyone speaks out is arrested, it does not have a viable press or daily or fortnightly newspapers. A state without any newspaper and people who can criticise and dissect issues people do not have clue about.

The only criticism is when it is about time to select a new state leader where clans who want the leadershio position speak out when the selection draws nearer.

Other than that it is the current leaders immediate clan base or supporting individuals and clans clapping up until it is selection time where all hell breaks lose.

You're a f*ckwit. I was the person that made that thread about my grandpa's hometown of Qandala. Unlike others, I don't hide Jack, and I tell the truth: hence the fact that in the last paragraph of my original comment, of that Qandala thread, I did mention ISIS taking the town. And i also posed the question of, what security measures are being taken to prevent it happening again:

With ISIS, taking the place last year and then later them being defeated, what's the security like now? Is there a permanent battalion stationed there to protect the town?
Also, does the PL Government have any development projects lined up for the area?

So, go piss off and eat a bag of dicks.

Cognitive this is the situation in Garowe this morning. I hope you can find some empathy for the destitute people who did not eat this morning as shops are shut and government cannot do anything. The economic policies failed utterly, the people are in dire situation.

A video of claiming past governments secured projects and claiming them as their own will not make the problems and failures in governance go away.

What would you like to discuss?

I think the Puntites on this forum are very diverse in terms of their opinions and are critical when needed. However, the vast majority of them are on the front lines defending the states' interests from peasants.

Whenever we want to discuss our internal affairs, peasants will enter and try to sit with us. :farmajoyaab:

Abdalla you are very sensible in your approach I sadly can not see that diversity. I see cheerleading and people denying reality on the ground. Who would go swimming with sharks and crocodiles?

They found a solution for that in Bosaso. People are urged to call the police whenever a shopowner refuses the new bank notes. The police then beats up the business owners that refused the new money. It's simple but highly effective method. It's just a matter of time before the Garowe police does the same as the Bosaso branch.
