Our supply line security(external) is doing well. We have checkpoints on our national highways. National infrastructure(ports, airports, national roads) must always be taxed, this is how normal states operate. But do not apply tolls inside the city.


Anyways watch that new control center being opened in Garowe. This is what we need in Galkacyo and Bosaso. We need to ensure we have a 'camera cctv' circuit 24/7 around the checkpoints. Why? this is where they smuggle drugs, weapons, explosives. We can review the CCTV footage and find our how this vehicle got past our 'check-points' and if we have any 'officers' who are 'open to bribery' by the enemy.

This will definitely secure our cities as nothing is coming from the outside. But we will need 'cameras' at the checkpoint. Infact I say apply it to the port and airports of Garowe-Galkacyo-Bosaso so nothing can be smuggled into our state and if it does, we can review the camera footage to find out how it happened and why it happened. This would solidify our security in our city, the enemy has nowhere to hide or bribe any official to let his vehicle or (sea port) container in.

Please provide this critical input to your government. To have effective security, we need Cameras at the right places of our external security posture. We need an external security posture which needs technology to play it's role. Checkpoints are usually the biggest place the enemy smuggles in weapons and explosives. We need an internal security posture also, they collect parts from 'suuqa' so we need a policy for our internal security. If we do this, they cannot do anything in PL.

By installing cameras at our check-point, ports, airports. Our officials will not be able to do bribery or allow anything in because they know a camera is watching him. This will reduce corruption while also keeping the enemy at check who will not dare come to PL as he fears he can't get passed our security policies and set up. It's not large investment either.

You just need cameras across the check-points and airports and ports and command center inside the town to 'monitor' from inside Bosaso-Galkacyo-Garowe any movement in the state. It's basically only 20 kilometer cable that will stretch from the Checkpoint, Airport, and Port to the command center in each city. A few TVS and and few officers(salary pay). Nothing else.

For less then 100k. It can be done. You buy 50k building. You buy cameras(cheap as hell), cables(cheap as hell), then get the 'construction' guys to come to lay down the cables under ground to the command center building. Wallahi I can budget it out for PL the costs involved. It won't be more then 100k and on-going salaries of officers inside the command center I think I can bring the costs down to 60k initial investment(the property is the most expensive), the cameras and cables and works(10k).

Ongoing salaries and electricity bill is the only ongoing expenses. For Bosaso-Galkayo-Garowe. If we did this, your looking maybe half a million for road check point security. It is worth it if we can save the un-necessary cost for lives being lost and damage to our cities.
